The Sparrow at Kings Croft

Kings Croft is our collection of 30 two, three, four and five bedroom homes set in the heart of the village of Ombersley. It’s a thriving village community with a selection of independent shops and four pubs, doctor and dentist surgeries, church and first school.  Opposite Kings Croft is Ombersley Memorial Hall and playing fields, a thriving community centre with activities as varied as yoga, quilting, air rifle shooting and drama on offer. Local sports clubs include Ombersley Cricket Club, which runs 17 youth teams starting from under 8 years, and five senior teams. Tennis lovers can enjoy a game at Ombersley and Doverdale Tennis Club, which offers four courts just half a mile walk from King Croft.  For golfers, it’s an eight minute* drive from Kings Croft to Ombersley Golf Club, three miles away. Less than a mile walk from Kings Croft, Ombersley Endowed First School (Reception to Year 5) enjoys small class sizes in a rural, spacious setting, and has its own pre-school nursery in the school grounds. Children move on from first school to feed in to Witton or Westacre Middle Schools in Droitwich Spa. Ombersley is six miles north of the cathedral city of Worcester, seven and a half miles to Junction 6 M5 and four-and-a-half miles west of Droitwich Spa.
