Malvern is a spa town in Worcestershire, lying at the foot of the Malvern Hills and known as a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Malvern is home to ancient iron-age hill-forts at British Camp and Midsummer Hill, a tour of the Morgan Motor Factory, Elgar's Birthplace Museum and Visitor Centre, as well as historic houses and museums.

You can also visit a former Benedictine monastery at Stanbrook Abbey, a fairy-tale castle, a stately home ruin and distinctive churches, including Britain’s finest Baroque church with ceiling paintings by Antonio Bellucci (1654–1726) at Great Witley.

Made up of some of the oldest rocks in England, the Malvern Hills is a pre-Cambrian range soaring over the west side of the Malvern district. These peaks are within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and natural springs percolate through deep fissures in the 680-million-year-old igneous and metamorphic rock.
The two highest summits, Worcestershire Beacon and North Hill can be climbed from the centre of Great Malvern, while the town is the trailhead for the 31-mile Worcestershire Way, crossing the northern Malverns on the way to the adorable town of Bewdley in the Severn Valley.

Malvern is also home to many independent shops and local markets, often holding festivals and events, along with many cycling and walking routes.
